According to my credit union's Intuit's Financeworks, I spent $5509/month. (That includes the ~$3200 for the natural garden/lawn replacement and my $5000 IRA contribution.) Assuming that the $3200 for home repairs/improvements is typical, I must reduce my retirement contributions to compensate. This of course doesn't include any tax refunds we may ultimately get. So, this means I spend about $66k/year.
