Tell Congress to Vote NO on Anti-Choice Legislation
In a matter of weeks, Congress will vote on several bills that would severely restrict access to reproductive health care. A bill introduced by Congressman Mike Pence (H.R. 217) would restrict Title X dollars – our nation’s family planning funding – from being distributed to any health care providers that also offer abortion care. Another bill introduced by Congressman Chris Smith (H.R. 3) would deny women the ability to purchase insurance coverage that includes abortion care – even when that insurance is purchased with their own money.
We need your help to fight these attacks against women. Planned Parenthood Mar Monte will be hosting phone banks where we will be connecting people to key members of Congress and demanding that they vote against these bills. Food and training will be provided.
