Weird hours.  So, the position allows Fridays and Saturdays "off"?

Well, it can't hurt to talk.  You obviously don't have to take the job.

Isn't it in Menlo Park or something?  That seems too far for a full-time
position, in any case, but you are looking for a part-time position
anyway.

You should be sure to ask about working part-time.  Given that it's so far
away and has such weird hours, I think you should accept nothing less.

Did you try contacting someone at Good Samaritan Hospital?  I think you
should at least find people there who would want to hire someone, if not
now, at some point in the future.
