I've been thinking (a.k.a. worrying) about Nick quite a bit over the past
couple of months, wondering what his future will be.

If there's any way he could eventually go to college, especially if it's
very far away from Vermont, he should do it.  I think he'd enjoy it.

And he should definitely avoid the army.
