That's awful. Thank you for letting us know. I hope he gets well quickly. I think of Matt often - as a matter of fact just the other day I was telling Nick that he teaches martial arts. We were fortunate enough to miss all that Tornado stuff, had a small funnel but it went away....western MA got hit bad! How are you doing, how's work going? Just in case you were trying to call Matt, I wanted to let you know that he has been in the Hospital in the ICU at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He contracted Guillian Barre syndrome, it's a rare disease that basically attacks your nerves, this is what he has: http://kidshealth.org/teen/diseases_conditions/bones/gbs.html He had a prolonged virus for a couple weeks and they say that is what brought it on. Right now, he's in ICU on a ventilator, he's going to get through it but it's a really nasty disease. He's paralyzed from his neck down but they say with the help of antibodies he will recover from it, not really sure how long.....some people are in the ICU from anywhere from a week to 4 months....were hoping Matt kicks this quickly. Again, I just wanted to let you know just in case you were trying to get in touch with him.
