Power Sentry power strip

I tried searching to see whether Power Sentry power strips have been
recalled.  I haven't seen any recalls.

I seem to recall that I replaced this power strip once before (the
previous one was the one that's in the front room on the floor next to the
Papa-San chair which I use for laptop power AC adapters).  Which makes me
think that it's the stereo that's at fault, somehow.

I guess I had had my previous stereo for about 11 years before I replaced
it.
