reading of economic history by Dick Walker on KPFA Sunday show



http://www.stocks-simplified.com/Great-Depression-in-Europe.html makes me
think that it would not have mattered whether the banks were bailed out or
not.  (I guess it could've saved some money and then the U.S. would be in
smaller hole.  This is possibly why spending huges amounts on World War II
was feasible for the U.S., whereas the U.S. doesn't really have that sort
of option now.)
