I remember playing recorder when I was in first grade (Ms Mooney) and those red sticks that we banged together. > Marnie did the violin > and Marnie & Flora took guitar lessons. I remember playing with that [shitty] guitar we had (the one with nylon strings) and playing that Boston song (More Than a Feeling). It's hard to say why I didn't want to play an instrument, but I'm pretty sure that some of it was due to the fact that I hated spending money (on lessons, or buying an instrument), including other people's money. I think this has become a little better over the years. Actually, I wonder if Nicholas has the same problem, failing to express himself due to financial concerns. > NEVER knew about AP courses until now! Also I didn't know about home > schooling when you guys were young as I might have gone that route.
