Subject: Season's Greetings to you too!

Hi Noelle,

I got your card today, it's great! I love it. I also got your postcard
before Thanksgiving. Yes, we were in town and took it easy.

You sound great, and I'm glad to hear your father is doing well. How is
the new house?

Bean passed away. I'm not sure if you knew that. We think of him a lot.

Things are going really well despite not having Bean around (perhaps his
benevolent spirit is hovering about.) Roger's work is never really
certain from season to season. He's working on Glee now (his 2nd season)
but the politics seem worse in television than anywhere else and he never
knows what's going to happen one day to the next. We're trying to save a
lot. In the meantime I moved to the President's office at the Getty and
am working with the new president Jim Cuno. He used to head the Art
Institute of Chicago, the Courtauld Institute of Art in London and the
Harvard Art Museums. I like him a lot, a very nice man. I'm obviously
enjoying my job more as a result but even more I'm interested in what I do
professionally than ever before. My previous boss was difficult, so a
change needed to happen.

Roger is surfing again, he surfed a lot over Thanksgiving so that's a good
thing too. Everyone in the family is doing well. My Uncle Fran, though
ailing from cancer, is still hanging in there.

Let us know if you're ever in Los Angeles. I've been meaning to get up to
SF but I've been busy with the job transition. We've also spent our last
three vacations with family in New York. We are going to Hawaii over
Christmas though, just the two of us. Roger will need to recharge, he's
working 6-day weeks this month.

Well, it's always so great to hear from you. I really love the Christmas
card.

Please say hello to Robert and maybe one day I'll meet Gary.

Love,
Lizzie
