Fw: Re: [SouthBayVeggies] Re: Eating in veg*n restaurants, eating in non-veg*n restaurants

You can forward this to Chandra.

That reminds me...No Worries, the ONLY place to get vegan Filipino food in
the Bay Area, closed this summer due to lack of sufficient business :( I
was fortunate to have attended their grand opening, eaten there and shared
wonderful meals with friends before they closed their doors and turned into
a food truck with limited availability and options. I don't know if it's
even operational. The Bay Area should be able to support vegan diversity,
but it didn't, and Filipino vegan has fallen off the map.

I echo what Mike and others said, and I divide my consumer purchasing votes
among both omni and veg restaurants. Restaurants are high overhead,
low-margin businesses and many of them fail within the first 2 years.
That's why I organize meetups at places like Green Cafe Vegan Cuisine--I
want them to stay open so I can keep coming for Angel Rice Claypot and Bò
Lúc Lác.
