Dear Noelle,

Thank you for the holiday greeting and newsy note. I have not been able to
go back to Palm Desert like I would like to, though the desert isn't warm
enough for me most days and no nights in Dec thru Feb. So I have been home
all of the time since my visit there last May.

It appears that my lower esophageal sphincter is never going to work again
making it very hard to travel because I can only sleep comfortably in a
Lazyboy lounger and eat my own food. I would like to see South FL- the only
area warm in the continental US in winter- but Roger won't go with me and
can't travel right now anyway. His heart condition is so serious that his
cardiologist won't let him have a local anesthetic to repair one of his 2
hernias. He has to have an angiogram this coming Tues, so his doc can see
where the new blockage is that showed up on the stress EKG last spring. He
thinks the stent he had put in about 4 yrs ago has collapsed or is blocked.
So we should be here Dec 21 and would enjoy seeing you again and meeting
Robert and you can meet Christian, my precious little rescue dog who is
blind from an inherited disease because all Maltipoo breeders are suppose to
have a DNA test for the disease and his didn't.

So glad to hear that you got a job using your skills working from home.
Will update you on Roger's condition and we can talk on the phone later.

cell everyday since am home most of the time and we are in a 3 mile dead
zone with no cell tower so very frustrating to use cell at home.
