I cannot open your attachment while at work, so cannot tell whether it has
lines in it or not.  I would doubt that it has lines in it if you sent it
as HTML since we didn't see the lines this morning.

If you wanna send it as XML, you should attach the .xslx file (or whatever
it was).  To do that in pine, you need to go to ".." a few times to get
into /tmp .  The file you edited this morning should be in there.  That
will definitely retain the lines (and the whole spreadsheet).
