You need to reboot.

I recommend starting the Gnotime timer before doing this, so that it keeps
track of your time.

When the Mac comes up, use the arrow keys to select the Apple logo and
press enter.  I think you have 20 seconds to make the selection before it
automatically boots into Linux.

It may ask you to upgrade.  I suggest not doing that unless you want to
spend hours upgrading.  We can do that later if you want.

Once in Mac, you can bring up Safari (the icon looks like a compass) and
get into Yahoo mail.  You can email me from there if necessary.
