VTA's El Camino Real Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) fact sheet http://www.vta.org/brt/pdf/ecr_rt_factsheet%20091511.pdf VTA's blog on BRT in Santa Clara County: http://www.vta.org/brt/blog/ Meeting presentation http://www.vta.org/brt/pdf/Environmental_Scoping_Meetings.pdf My own take: to ensure bicycles can use El Camino Real after BRT is fully implemented, the project MUST have dedicated lanes for bicycles, buses and automobiles, from Showers in Mountain View up to Santa Clara via the Long dedicated lane alternate detailed in the meeting presentaiton. This is something that has been LONG overdue along El Camino Real. Future provisions should be put in to eventually convert the BRT corridor into light rail as funding and economic conditions permit doing so. I know this is short notice on this. Need your input on this by Friday at noon.
