Thankfully, I have not been in that position.  I have had multiple bosses
at past jobs, so I just choose the ones who would give me the least bad
reviews ;-).

Yeah, that's good.  However, the company may insist on providing contact
info for the supervisor at the most recent position.  Unfortunately.
