Subject: failing to learn my lesson

Josh,

Hope you're doing well.

I'm having fun at my job these days. They allow me to work from home 2 days per week, which is nice, considering it's in San Mateo and it's a bit of haul to get there.

Below is the real reason I'm writing.

Recently, I was thinking about how in college, I did badly in physics. And, I was trying to understand why that was.

Unfortunately, the professor that I took the course from died a few years ago and, thus, I'm not able to ask him why that might have happened.

I was wondering if my problem I had learning physics was a similar problem to what I experienced at Macrosoft -- the poor performance reviews I received there.

Given a year's perspective, do you think there's anything I could've done differently in my process which might have avoided these poor reviews? Maybe ask more pointed, directed questions? Maybe meet with you more often? Meet with others? Could executing some particular exercise have helped?

Thanks.
