After you plug in the camera, don't bring up f-spot.  Browse the camera
under DCIM and find the images.  After you find them, select them and copy
them.  Then go to a temporary directory (e.g., tmp) and do Edit->Paste to
paste 'em.

>From there, you can bring up f-spot and import from tmp.  Or, better, just
compose a message in Pine and attach the image file from the tmp
directory (make sure you remember its name, obviously, so you attach the
right one).
