Picking up "Pre-Paid" Tickets On the day of your departure, simply pick up your tickets at the Alcatraz Cruises ticket office located at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. The "Pre-Paid" (or "will call") window is located at the ticket office onsite at Pier 33. Your Pre-paid tickets are available 1 hour before your scheduled departure time. You must present a valid photo identification, along with the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Boarding Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Please allow enough time to park so you don't miss your boarding window. Even if you hold a confirmed ticket, your space may be given to another passenger if you are not onboard at least 10 minutes prior to departure. Parking There is NO parking at the Pier 33 boarding location. There is plenty of parking nearby. On street parking in the Fisherman's Wharf area can be difficult to find, and nearly every space has a meter with a two-hour limit, which is not enough time for Alcatraz visits. There are numerous commercial lots within five blocks of the Alcatraz Landing at Pier 33.
