My job search has been a bit bumpy. farmerinthedell has a hiring freeze, so my offer is on hold for now. jupiner Networks weren't interested in having someone in the south bay. I interviewed with Infer.com but they weren't interested in moving forward. I talked with flipbored, but it sounded too much like what I was doing at Macrosoft and was hoping to do something better. (I hope I don't regret that.)
I'm not sure that job sounds aligned to my career direction. My ideal job would be in the computer security field and would involve using machine learning at some level. Short of that, doing computer security stuff leveraging my skills of data processing and storage would be OK.
