Important information for your trip!

Dear Valued Guest,

Please read this important information regarding an event in San Francisco that 
may affect your travel time to Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing, the departure point 
for your Alcatraz Island tour.

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), the primary provider of commute and residential 
transit service into and out of the San Francisco Bay Area, is currently in 
contract negotiation talks with its Employees. There is the potential of a BART 
strike, which could take effect as early as 11:59pm on Sunday evening, August 4,
 2013.

Should BART service be discontinued due to a strike, transportation throughout 
the San Francisco Bay Area will be significantly impacted. If you have tickets 
for the Alcatraz Island tour over the next several days, please allow a minimum 
of one to two hours of additional travel time in order to reach Pier 33 
Alcatraz Landing for your scheduled departure to Alcatraz Island. Parking in 
the area will be extremely limited. If at all possible, please carpool or take
