Anything Fun - After Hours “Retro Space: Sci-Fi Vs. Reality” @ the Tech Museum

    Meet-up location at 7:30 p.m. at the museum’s Market Street entrance. Tickets: $10 for General Public/$8 for Tech Museum members/Free if your birthday is in September and October (with a valid ID). Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
  • Come join us for the next Tech Museum's After Hours Event, “ Retro Space: Sci-Fi Vs. Reality” 

    This will be a joint Meetup with the “Bay Area Weekends” group.

    This is a fun & lively event where you can embrace your love of science and technology in a night club like environment.  Play giant games like Giant Jenga (4-foot-tall blocks), oversized chess, and giant Four in a Row.  Play the galactic quiz that will test your knowledge of galaxies near and far. There is also a no-host bar, limited cafe menu, and an After Hours Photo Booth.

    For this special event the Tech Museum will open up their Rooftop Terrace for wine tasting above the city skyline.

    The music will be spun by DJ Komodo playing popular Sci-Fi tracks.  


    Invitation is for adults 21 and older to enjoy an evening of science, technology, entertainment, and cocktails together with their friends at the Tech Museum.  Feel free to  explore the entire museum under mood lighting, play giant games, explore hands-on exhibit, dance to live music, and more...

    How to get there:

    Getting to The Tech is easy. The museum is located in downtown San Jose, CA at the corner of Park Avenue and Market Street, the mango and azure building is hard to miss!  There are a few nearby parking garages within close vicinity to the museum. 

    Parking

    Discounted, validated parking is available at the Convention Center Garage (enter at Market and San Salvador additional parking at Second and San Carlos Streets Garage (enter from Second or s) Validated parking will be $5.00 (except when special event pricing is in effect). Take your parking ticket with you to The Tech Museum for validation.  Parking at the Convention Center Garage is not free and is only discounted with museum validation.
