Re: tape-eating VCR



OK, maybe the VCR-DVD concept would be best.  (We already have a DVD
player, but it doesn't record.)

Noelle was gathering up the VCR tapes that we already have DVDs for or are
no longer needed so they can eventually be tossed.  (Getting rid of these
tapes in an environmentally-friendly way appears to be challenging.)

I think the main reason we were keeping the VCR was for recording TV
shows, but we've been doing less and less of that since most of the TV
shows eventually come out on Netflix DVDs or on instant watch.

(Yeah, we're so obsolete that we don't even have a TiVO nor DVR.)
