, We are excited to welcome
you to the Lab Guest House and hope that we can provide the much needed rest and comfort needed to accomplish your goals here at UC
and Lawrence National Lab. For site access, please present your photo ID at
Blackberry Gate located at the top of Hearst Avenue and Cyclotron Road. Blackberry Gate is the only gate open between 7 PM and 6 AM. This confirmation
grants you access to Blackberry Gate, the Guest House and the Bay View Cafe. If you require access to other LBNL facilities you must obtain that from
your sponsor. We are required to obtain the names, as well as country of citizenship and birth, for all members of your party in order to facilitate
site access. The LBNL Shuttle Bus can
take you from the Downtown BART station to the Lab and Guest House. The Guest House is most easily accessed by the BLUE UPHILL SHUTTLE. (Click here to view the shuttle routes and stops). A shuttle bus pass will be emailed
approximately 4 days prior to your arrival. Please print your shuttle bus pass to present to the shuttle driver with your photo ID. The shuttle driver
will not allow you to board the shuttle bus without the shuttle pass and a photo ID. Shuttle Service is available Monday-Friday for regular service
from 6:30 AM until 7:00 PM, and with extended service until 9:00 PM. When the shuttle service is not running complimentary night time transportation
is available via Bearwalk, the UC sponsored ride service.(Click here if you need night time transportation) All of our hotel guests are welcome to
access the Guest House via car, taxi or airport shuttle through Blackberry Gate, located at the top of Hearst Avenue. The Blackberry Gate and the
Guest House Lobby are open 24 hours a day. Please call Guest House Reception at (510) 495-8000 for more information on after hours transportation.
Complimentary parking is available
in the “Z” lot directly across from the entrance to the Guest House. Designated Guest House spaces face the bay and are identified by a blue sign.
Please see the Front Desk for a parking permit and place it on the dashboard of your vehicle. If for any reason you should have difficulty locating a
space, notify the Front Desk and they will be able to assist you. Directions to the Guest House can be found on our website. If there is anything you need as we prepare for your

Vehicles and luggage may be left at the facility beyond check-out time based on storage space and parking availability. | CANCELLATION | Please cancel
reservations at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date to avoid a one-night room charge. | PETS | Pets are not
permitted at the Lab Guest House. Assistance animals are always welcome. Please let the staff know if you plan to arrive with an assistance
animal. | SMOKING | Smoking is not
permitted in the Guest House. Please use designated smoking areas only. | ELIGIBLE GUESTS | Individuals or
groups who are working at LBNL or those visiting or attending UC are eligible to stay at the Guest House. No minors under the age of 17 are
permitted to stay at the Guest House. All guests must provide their LBNL or UC host/contact information at the time of making a
reservation. | PACKAGES/DELIVERIES | Please do not
have any packages sent to the Guest House. LBNL affiliated guests should have packages delivered to the department hosting their stay. UC affiliated
guests should have packages delivered to their UC host/contact. |
