That would suck since that's your name -- people will still try to connect to you that way. I guess you're stuck and will forever be monitored. I didn't think to tell you that you should tell them that you don't have an existing skype account. (That's why I was reluctant to log into your skype account on your work laptop in the first place -- I didn't want to establish the association.) Oh, well. Just another way of losing your privacy and being exposed. > I used skype to call the webex number and I could hear it from headset. > i don't see why i would have to have a googlemail account for it to work. You don't. The only reason "they" think you should do that is that you can use your computer as telephone when using the [NSA-infested] Google Talk. That's why I say that that is bullshit. (Really, the person organizing the webex meeting should allow web interaction rather than making it teleconference-only. But, getting someone to change that will probably be difficult.) I think the only solution is to find a wired phone which allows you to plug in your own earpiece/handsfree set/headset. > On Mon, 11 Nov 2013, Robert wrote: > > > From: Noelle <http://dummy.us.eu.org/noelleg> > > > Date: Mon, 11 Nov 2013 15:58:56 -0800 (PST) > > > > > > On Mon, 11 Nov 2013, Robert wrote: > > > > I just got an email from Skype. > > > > > > > > You didn't associate your existing Skype account with work, did you? > > > > > > yes > > > why not? > > > > Because you don't want the company continuing to monitor you after your > > contract ends. > > > > Is it too late to create another skype account specifically for work?
