I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the nanny state parcelling out what it
thinks its citizens need.

Thus, in fairness, I will give a portion of my funds to the authorities
(i.e., the parents); the other portion will be spent on the small,
possibly useless gifts sent directly to the subjects (i.e., the kids).
