They may also ask about variable and function scoping rules in Python: when is variable or function available at the module level versus the class level versus only the function level. Also, embedding languages may or may not be an issue. I think we used cinterface for calling C functions, but they may wanna use other languages. Depends on how they're using Python. Also, knowing about basic libraries, like fetching a web page or formatting json for a REST interface interaction.
