Dead Kennedys fan likes the new Governor Jerry

Ted - I was talking to a neighbor who happens to love the DKs, as do I.
We talked about how I was a registered Green Party member, and I said that
there was no way I'd ever vote for Jerry.  And, in all seriousness,
he replied "I think Jerry is doing a great job.  Why?  What's wrong
with him?"  I couldn't believe my ears.  Am I just still too radical or
something?  Is it possible that he felt that the original Ca Uber
Alles was just against hippies, and not about the authoritarian system
itself?  Did I misinterpret Jello's words, thinking of a more radical
meaning in them than what they were really saying?

I'm just having an existential crisis, and I'm hoping you can resolve it.
