Well, with this new setup, you won't be able to lounge on the futon with
your laptop after this.

They should provide you with a raise so we can build an office in the
back so you can make use of the monitors.

In any case, I guess we could hook it up similar to what you have with
your laptop now.  I.e., during the weekends, sit one of huge monitors on
the box next to your desk and, during the week, place it on your tabletop;
and use your existing MacMini monitor as the second monitor.  You can use
your MacMini keyboard and mouse via the switch per usual.  I.e., you'd
essentially be replacing the laptop with a monitor.  The desktop computer
could sit under your desk.
