Good morning,

I wanted to confirm with everyone that the PC rollout is underway!  They are currently shipping out equipment based on alphabetical order of last name.

During the upgrade, Brian and Solomon will be contacting each Coder to help reset the password.  Please DO NOT reset your passwords.  Please note that when you receive the new PC, you are still able to work using your laptops until IT calls you .  Just because you have received the new PC doesnâ??t mean you need to wait for IT to call in order to continue working.  If there are any questions on this please let me know.

Good afternoon everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to announce an exciting division-wide PC Technology Upgrade Initiative.  Over the next couple of months,  we will be replacing all laptops in the field with a new â??bundleâ?? to provide the following setup for all remote coders:

â?¢         Lenovo â??Miniâ?? Desktop Computer
â?¢         Two 22 inch monitors
â?¢         VGA adapter for dual monitor configuration
â?¢         Mouse
â?¢         Full Keyboard

While providing the durability of a desktop PC,  the Lenovo Mini is designed to save space.  It is just a few inches thick and about as tall and wide as Kindle or Ipad:

This technology upgrade is a substantial investment by mamix aimed at:

·         Allowing regularly scheduled maintenance and patchwork to be performed remotely by mamix IT through Windows Intune

·         Increasing security with the addition of farmerinthedell Data Protection Encryption,  Blue Coat ProxyClient, and Absolute Computrace

·         Drastically Improving screen viewability for coders

·         Increasing coder productivity

Our plan is to begin rolling this equipment out in groups and have a target to replace all laptops in the field by October 1 st  2014.  The new computers will include instructions for basic setup as well as return labels to send back your laptop once your new â??Miniâ?? is up and running.

HR will be reaching out to ask each of you to confirm your address for shipments.  We will notify you once you can expect your specific equipment to be on its way.
