Robert, Thanks to your generous support we have the resources to fight for common sense drug policy reform going into 2015. Thank you. Thank you for coming through when we needed you most. We asked for your help in the last few weeks of December, and 1,511 donors gave more than $115,000 to end the war on drugs. And because of the generosity of a few anonymous donors, every donation up to $100,000 was matched twice. That’s right – we raised over $315,000 thanks to dedicated advocates like you! Because of you we’re ready to fight for drug policies grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights at the federal, state, and local level - and even abroad. Robert, today Congress comes back in session. I believe with enough pressure we can force some big votes this year. Votes on reforming mandatory minimum sentencing, stopping the militarization of our police, and ending the federal war on marijuana. 2014 was an amazing year for our movement, and I know 2015 will be too. Thanks again for standing with us. Sincerely, Ethan Nadelmann |
