It appears that, if you tag on on Caltrain with Clipper, you need to also
tag off because it subtracts $10.75 from the card with the tag on but will
refund the entire amount on tag-off if the number of zones passed through
is the same as the monthly pass. For example, when you tagged on
yesterday at Redwood City, it subtracted $10.75 cash from the card, but
refunded $10.75 when you tagged off at where-I-live.
In any case, you shouldn't need to either tag on nor tag off on Caltrain
for the rest of the month. However, you do need to tag on on VTA.
Complicated, huh?
