It's trying to download the document -- which is stupid considering that
you just went through the trouble of uploading it.

I think you should reply to that email you got from your supervisor (or
whoever) and tell him/her that Office 365 OneDrive says that the
spreadsheet is too big to open.  There must be a workaround.
