Yes, I did.  I found it on the floor and thought it was yours, Gail.

Gail, it looks like you were on the right path with the Paragraph thing.
Click on the icon in the lower right of the Paragraph ribbon item (the
icon looks like a box with an arrow going down and to the right) to bring
up the Paragraph dialog box.  In there, there's an option "Don't add space
between paragraphs of the same style".  That seems to reduce the
between-paragraph spacing.
