Since we got the phone, we've got about 5 system updates, which involves
downloading several megabytes and having to reboot the phone.
Unfortunately, they seem to follow the Ubuntu model -- to get to E, you
have to do the A upgrade, the B upgrade, the C upgrade, and the D upgrade.
(The Debian model lets you jump right ahead since all the dependencies
have been figured out. (Although, I have discovered a few dependency bugs
recently.))
I also installed TextSecure for encrypted SMS. The real privacy stuff
hasn't been done yet, 'tho (like turning off GPS, for example). I'll get
to that eventually.
