That will definitely not fix it.

Could you try bringing up the task manager and clicking on the
Applications tab?  And then right click on the dead Excel application, and
click "go to process"?  Then, could you tell me the name of the software
that it's using?  It should be the folder and file name beneath "Program
Files".  I could do some research on this so I can fix it when I get home.

(Looking for "Cisco Remote" didn't show anything, unfortunately.  That's
too generic a term.)
