Those of us who live in the South Bay see the iconic Radar Tower on Mt. Umunhum
every day of our lives. It's a landmark that personalizes our skyline; when we
see it we know that we are home.
The Tower also stands as a reminder of the Cold War and the sacrifices of those
who served our country at the Almaden Air Force Station on the mountain.
