Yep.

Around my ear, close to my jawline, swelled up.  Then, there were spots
from the ear up to the top of the jaw.

But, of course, it can arrive in several different places, like on your
abdomen or legs -- anywhere where there are nerves.  It's related to
herpes, as you probably know.

If you let it linger, it can cause permanent nerve damage.

I didn't know it was shingles, but, as soon as she walked into the room
and looked at me, the doctor I went to said "oh, you have shingles, don't
you?".

She prescribed me acyclovir, an anti-viral.
