It looks like people who have a credit reporting freeze cannot set up an
account according to
https://faq.ssa.gov/ics/support/kbanswer.asp?questionID=3871 . So, it
looks like I (or anybody else) would have to jump through a number of
hoops in order to set up an SSA account, anyway.
