At first, I was running MacOSX on Noelle's computer. But, then, as Noelle was using it, the lack of open standards and portability of data got me scared, and I converted everything to Linux. (Which, essentially, was a "restart": all the previous data had to be re-entered and so on. Very painful. Well worth the pain, however.) As I said, in the future, I will not buy Apple hardware again. The Macbook Pro and iPad were given to me by my last workplace -- I didn't pay for them.
