 > I am looking forward to our weekend retreat at Wilbur Hot Springs.
 > Located 5 miles down a dirt road and 20 miles from the nearest town,
 > Wilbur is an ideal setting to deepen our practice of yoga.

 > How do I get there?
 > FIRST: DO NOT RELY ON GPS FOR DIRECTIONS! IT WILL NOT WORK.

 > >From I-80 (San Francisco Bay Area):
 > Take I-5 North to exit 578 for CA-20 toward Clear Lake/Colusa. Turn
 > left onto CA-20 then go approximately 15-20 miles to turn right onto
 > Bear Valley Road, go four miles down the dirt road. Turn left over
 > the Historic Wilbur Silver Bridge and drive one mile through the
 > gate and up to the hotel. Park your car, come to the desk to checkin.

 > Driving Time: about 2.5 hours from Bay Area and 1.5 hours from

 > When can I arrive and how long can I stay?
 > Check-in is after 3pm on Friday (Please note: if you want to arrive
 > before 3:00 pm and use the pools, there will be a $25 day fee) and
 > you can stay until 5pm on Sunday. Our workshop will begin at 5:00
 > on Friday afternoon and end with brunch on Sunday. We recommend
 > spending the afternoon on Sunday! If you can come a day early or
 > stay a day late, that is a wonderful way to enrich the retreat. Book

 > What do I do when I get there?
 > When you arrive park in the temporary parking lot, check in at the
 > FRONT DESK to get your room assignment, a parking pass, and sign a
 > release waiver (those of you new to Wilbur).
 > What to Bring?
 > Wilbur is remote, so bring all you need for a 3-day excursion.
 > 1. Towel
 > 2. Slippers (Wilbur is shoes off indoors so slippers are nice)
 > 3. Bath robe
 > 4. Clothes for yoga
 > 5. Hiking shoes if you like
 > 6. Warm clothes for morning pranayama
 > 7. yoga mat (we have mats if you donâ??t own one)
 > 8. Water bottle
 > 9. Small towel for yoga
 > 10.a light blanket (to cover up with during practice)

 > 12.Sun screen and sun hat

 > 14.Group Room People (Bunk): please bring top bedding.

 > 15.Beverages: We will provide drinking water, tea and coffee
 > but if you want bubbly water, juice, beer or wine, please
 > bring that. Bring your drinks to the RED HOUSE kitchen and
 > ask our cook which fridge you can use.
 > Cell Phones and Electronics
 > Believe it or not, there is no cell range at Wilbur. There is no wifi.
 > Weâ??re entirely off the grid and solar powered. You get to unplug
 > completely! This means there are no electrical outlets available for
 > personal use, so leave cell phone chargers, hair dryers and irons at
 > home. Bring your car-charger if you need it for the ride home.
 > Camping
 > If youâ??re camping, please bring tent, sleeping bag, flashlight
 > (important!) and anything else you might need for camping. Camp
 > sites are a little bit of a walk from the hotel parking area. Be
 > prepared to carry your belongings to and from your site.
 > There is no car camping at Wilbur Hot Springs.
 > Pets
 > Pets are not allowed on the property of Wilbur Hot Springs. If you
 > need to bring a service animal, we can make arrangements for you
 > but we need to know ahead of time.
 > If youâ??re new to Wilbur
 > Wilbur was a former Native American healing center, treasured for
 > its natural mineral waters. We will have the pleasure to enjoy
 > Wilburâ??s 1800-acre preserve that surrounds these healing waters.
 > The baths are open 24 hours a day and are a wonderful compliment
 > to the yoga. There is also a cold pool for swimming and a sauna to
 > get a good cleansing sweat! The bathing area is clothing optional.
 > Some people choose to wear bathing suits, others do not. You
 > should feel perfectly at home to bathe in a manner that is most
 > comfortable for you.
 > Come early and stay late! We recommend doing your best to get out
 > of the city early on Friday so have time to arrive at Wilbur and
 > settle in before class starts at 5:00pm.
