 > Here are the details for your upcoming surgery.

 > Surgery has been scheduled for Friday May 18,2018  at  Hospital.

 > He must check in at 5:30am with surgery to start at 7:30am. 
 > This is a 1 1/2 hour procedure.
 > 
 > The surgery Dr. Khan is planning to do is: L4-5 Microdiscectomy 
 > 
 > We Also need you to go  and have his pre-op labs, chest x-ray, and EKG done no later than Thursday this week.
 >  ***Please schedule an appt. by calling 408-947-2593
 > 
 > Also no drinking 8 hours before surgery, this includes NO water, food, gum, candy etc.
 > 
 > If you take medication you must take you can take it with small sips of water, but check with your anesthesiologist first .
 > 
 > Lastly, make sure you are not taking any NSAIDS or blood thinners that includes Aspirin.
 > 
 > * * Also, Please make sure to bring your MRI CD with you since Dr. Khan will need it the morning of surgery**
