They'll be cutting me a check for the 40 hours. I also found out that I needed to use 5 days PBA (sick time) for the medical leave. I submitted that request just now. That leaves me with 0 (zero) PBA hours left. From now on, all future sick time requests will go against floating holidays and PTO -- I'm in the same boat as you!
