I had thought I was going to install the new OS and copy all your files to
the new computer.
I'm thinking, instead, I will clone your Linux partition on your existing
computer and restore it onto the new computer. In order to do this, I'll
need to
* set up your machine so that I can do this
* reboot your computer
* copy all the data onto the external hard drive that I have
Please tell me when there will be a good time for me to reboot your
computer and copy off the data. (I assume a Thursday when you're in
class?)
I'll need some time to study exactly what's involved in doing this, so it
may not be this week. We'll see.
