Robert,
I hope this email find you and Noelle healthy and happy. The scene of the 
potluck at your yard in a summer is still vivid in my mind.I hope you have 
recovered well after the surgery and sciatica pain no longer has anything to do 
with you.  
In our life, we have to experience so many unpleasant things, pain, sickness, 
and eventually the end of of life. Yet we also have so much more to enjoy and 
treasure. It is fortunate that when you were going through extreme sciatic pain 
and neurological surgery, you had Noelle with you.  I am very glad that after 
all your sufferings, you shared your experience with no complaint to life, 
still love it and live it with enthusiasm. You are really very strong.
For the past years, my life had gone through a journey of roller coaster. 
Fortunately I landed with little injury. The pain we had experienced belongs to 
the past. Let's live the rest of our years with wisdom and joy.
