Hi Everyone, Here are my items from the membership meeting last week. 1. Welcome email - I looked for this in Mailchimp but it’s not there. I think Bob has it set up through a Wordpress plug-in which means it’s inaccessible to us. Passing this item off to whoever wants to follow up with Bob. 2. Google events calendar. I shared the one I created awhile back with Brian. I also looked to see if we could subscribe it to the Meetup Calendar. I think the only way to do this is to create a separate UB google account and make sure that account attends every single event. Right now the google calendar is under my personal account. Here are some options: * Get the UB google credentials from Bob, create a calendar, subscribe that account to Meetup * Use any calendar (either the one I have, or creating one with UB credentials) and manually add all events to it * Create a new official UB google account and then either subscribe it to Meetup or manually add events. Note - there are a couple of decisions at play: do we want a distinct UB account to own the calendar? Do we want it subscribed to Meetup or is manual entry ok? Is it possible to get the credentials from Bob? I’m happy to set up a fresh account and migrate our documentation in there if we want to go that route. 3. Key roles: we decided that the key roles we’ll pursue for now are accountant, events calendar manager, sales support I’m working with Laura to put communication processes in place for sales support. Events Calendar Manager * Maintains comprehensive calendar of events * Communicate with Events Sub-Committee chair to document upcoming events * Adds all events to UB events calendar * Adds relevant events to Meetup and Facebook calendars * Communicates with Communications Sub-Committee chair on monthly basis to plan email communications around event promotion and volunteer recruitment
