We were talking to Noelle's friends last night and someone said that any
car before 1975 does not need emissions controls or inspections (i.e., no
smog test) in Ca.
You can call Mike Lawson in Santa Barbara at 350-138-0374. He also had
some advice about how and where to sell classic cars. For example, he
suggested using Craigslist with a nationwide (not just local) search in
addition to eBay. I think he was also talking about Auto Trader magazine
online; not exactly sure of the details. He said that VW Squarebacks, of
the classic VW cars, are the hardest to sell; beetles are much easier.
