Yeah, I was surprised at how much the increased infectiousness has been
downplayed. It seems like this is exactly how we would've expected the
virus to mutate and exactly how it's adapting to stay alive. In other
words, the more we slow it down by lockdowns, the more it will adapt to
that situation by becoming more communicable. I'm guessing that the next
mutation will be for it to have a longer incubation period before symptoms
appear.
