Well I do think that educators need to be vaccinated sooner than later. My
Brazilian colleague knows several professor friends who have already been
inoculated. However, elderly folks should be the priority. The ethics of
vaccinating are pretty complex.
Just read an article on long-haulers and how sick younger folks who experienced
a “mild” case can be months out from the time of exposure. Very scary and
debilitating. The last thing I’d want would be to survive the virus and then
not b e able to work.
