It says:

 If he were 30 years younger, would he consider not having kids?
 “Rich countries are worried about shrinking. So no,
 I wouldn’t say to somebody, please
 don’t have kids. We will make the world a
 reasonable place to live in and so kids will be
 fine.” He thinks for a moment.
 “It is weird that in 2050,
 I’ll be 95 years old. Will I live to see this play
 out, in terms of what works and what doesn’t work?
 This is why you have to engage the young.”

This is completely irresponsible.  The reason why we need so much cement
and concrete is precisely because of the population.  If there were only 1
human on the planet, there would be far less need for so much cement.  I
don't think one can easily dismiss human overpopulation.
