Agreed. The answer
“Hoping that the virus won’t kill you.”
isn't correct at all. It has nothing to do with "hope". It's
probability: you're much less likely to die or be hospitalized if you get
the vaccine.
Whether the rest happens is yet to be determined. But, first protecting
the medical system and protecting yourself should be the highest priority.
